-SPIRA- means “spire” in Swedish and the cables of the yoke in this sweater surely reminds of kings’ or queens’ spires. Feel like a royal and cast on your own Spira in a majestic colourway!
This Sweater is knitted top-down, in the round and features twisted rib, cables and bobble stitches. It is completely seamless. Just weave in some ends and you’re done! When choosing what size to knit, keep in mind that the measurements given are those for the finished garment. Start by using a tape measure to find out your own bust circumference. Then compare your bust circumference to the ones given above. The sweater is intended to be worn with approximately 0-5cm positive ease. Depending on if you choose a size with a spot-on measurement, it will result in a sweater with snug fit or if you choose a size that’s a few cm wider, it will result in a looser fit. At this point it’s the only measurement you need to compare as you will be customizing the body and sleeves lengths for your sweater later on.
