Note
This hat is worked in the round, from the bottom up. Genmou and Silk Mohair are held together throughout the 1x1 rib for the brim. The body is then worked in a Cable Pattern. The Cable Pattern is worked with two yarns, a single stand of Genmou is used when knitting the cables and then held together with a single strand of Silk Mohair when working the reverse stockinette stitch in between. After the crown is completed, the hat is fastened off. A pompom is then attached.

Note
These fingerless mitts are worked in the round, from the bottom up. The Cable Pattern is worked with two yarns, a single stand of Genmou is used when knitting the cables and then held together with a single strand of Silk Mohair when working the reverse stockinette stitch in between. Genmou and Silk Mohair are held together throughout the 1x1 rib for the cuffs and thumbs. Increases are made in the body of the mitts for the thumb gusset which are then placed on hold when finishing the body. Those stitches are then placed back on to needles and the thumb is worked in the round.
