The basic pattern is a hexagon.. with basic Double crochet stitches.
This Espadrille is sized for the wearer.
In my case it’s 42 Euro(10 US), but the size can be adjusted .
I prefer to use cotton because it is durable with wear.
Additionally, one will need:
Espadrille sole
1’-2’ of Canvas Duck Fabric
Approximately 12’ of leather lace ( shoe laces can be substituted)
Sewing needle that can be used to attach the top to it’s sole
I’ve used a DMC Needlepoint Needle
