This beanie is worked in one continuous spiral and primarily double crochet. It’s an easy way to get some cool texture without a complicated pattern.

The gauge isn’t very important, but my stitches tend to run tight so it’s worth checking if your stitches tend to run loose instead. Otherwise, you might end up with a larger hat than intended.

You shouldn’t need the full skein of yarn to complete the hat as written. The hat will be about 8” from center to edge and 22” around.
