This pattern is knit entirely on a bulky 9mm knitting machine. The handwork is only for sewing a side seam and tacking down the I-Cord.
It is sized for a woman’s small or medium hat. I strongly suggest making a gauge swatch. You will need a skein of two colors but will need only about a third of each for one hat. The band has a ribbed look, but is actually all knitted on the main bed.
