Both of my children love space and stars. When I started working this pattern, with a star stitch, it looked like it was swirling around the sock. My son pays a lot of attention to my knitting. I told him it was a star stitch. He named the pattern when he told me my stars were spiraling <3

The pattern is written for 56, 64 and 72 stitches. The socks can be completed with a single skein of fingering weight yarn, or less, depending on your leg length and foot size :)
