I love a string bag, I don’t love getting one out of my handbag and finding keys and headphones tangled in it. This nifty little bag folds away in to its self to keep it from getting tangled on the contents of your bag.

Any weight yarn can be used really but I do recommend a cotton yarn for lack of stretch.

A 130m
B 30m
3.5mm hook
5.5mm hook
17mm Button
24 SC + 24 rows = 4 inches

Alternatively

DK
A 140m
B 40m
4mm hook
6mm hook
17mm Button
20 SC + 20 rows = 4 inches

Base = 4 inches 4ply, 5 inches DK
Handle = 12 inches 4 ply, 13 inches DK

This pattern uses SC/DC, increases, front and back loop stitches, chains, and is worked in a continuous spiral with two active stitches. (tutorials available in my blog)
