Spiral Washcloth
Washcloths are the perfect project for many purposes! Not only is the finished product handy (and compostable once it’s past it’s use by date), but it’s the perfect project for learning new stitches and new techniques. This is my fifth series of washcloths, with 12 in each series. This series we’re continuing to focus on a theme of either texture rounds or rows each month and learning something new with each one.
And the added bonus - if you enjoy making the washcloth I include instructions in the pattern for how to adjust it to make something bigger. Your only limitations then are your imagination, yarn supply and time!
As with all my patterns, the written instructions include US and UK terms and written instructions for how to make each stitch. There is a also a picture guide to refer to as you’re making your washcloth too.
I use and recommend 100% cotton for all washcloths. My yarn of choice is KnitPicks Dishie.
This pattern uses half double crochet (UK Hlaf Treble) to create the design and is worked in the round.
