I wanted to make a worsted weight version of my bulky weight hat, Spiralis. Here it is!

The pattern includes instructions for two different weights of worsted yarn (lighter or heavier) and for three sizes:

For lighter worsted yarn (ex. Malabrigo Rios):
Needles: US 5 and US 7
Small: 160 yds
Medium: 180 yds
Large: 200 yds
Gauge: 1” x 1”, 8 sts by 7 rows in K2P2 (relaxed)

For heavier worsted yarn (ex. Vanna’s Choice):
Needles: US 6 and US 8
Small: 120 yds
Medium: 140 yds
Large: 160 yds
Gauge: 1” x 1”, 6 sts by 7 rows in K2P2 (relaxed)
