Spirelet Sweater
Add a garment with interest to your fall collection with the Spirelet Sweater. This cozy pullover is worked in the round from the bottom up featuring stranded colorwork bands. Trendy stripes accent the sleeves, which are worked side to side before being sewn in and seamed.

Yarn Plymouth Yarn Select DK Merino Superwash (100% fine Merino super-wash wool; 130 yd 119 m/1¾ oz 50 g): #1145 Natural Heather (MC), 9 (10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16) skeins; #1130 Claret (CC1) and #1140 Copper Heather (CC2), 2 (2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3) skeins each.
Needles Size 5 (3.75 mm): 16” and 24–32” circular (cir), depending on size you are making. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Markers (m); stitch holders; tapestry needle.
Gauge 21 sts and 31 rnds = 4” in St st.

• The body of this pullover is worked in the round from the lower edge to the underarm, then the upper front and back are worked separately back and forth. The sleeves are worked separately from side to side and sewn to the armholes.
• The vertical stripes are worked using the stranded method. Always pick up the background color over the pattern color and pick up the pattern color from under the background color. Keep floats loose.
