Spirographical
When I was a child I loved playing with my spirograph especially using the green pen from the four colour biro that I treasured. My Mum used to tell me that
green biro was for accountants and crazy people. (I did train as an accountant briefly and no comment on the latter!) The shade of this yarn reminded me of that
biro and the motifs were designed to reflect the swirling patterns made by the spirograph.
The unusual dodecagon and square tesselation of the pattern make for a pretty shawl with a fluted edging.
Make it in your favourite childhood colour for spirographing or use the pattern as a stashbuster to make a multi-coloured wonder.
