Spitfire Coffee Cup Amigurumi
This pattern is
available for free.
This cute coffee cup amigurumi is a fun decoration or gift idea. It’s made in three pieces (cup, coffee, and applique) and then stuffed and sewn together.
You could also swap out the spitfire applique for any small applique, or simply embroider a design on it instead!
Supplies for amigurumi
- Worsted weight yarn in white & dark brown
- 3.75mm crochet hook
- Stuffing
- Large glass bead or marble (optional, for weighting)
- Stitch markers
- Sewing thread in dark brown or black
- Sewing needle
Supplies for applique
- Cotton craft thread in red, white, blue, and yellow
- 1.65mm crochet hook
- Sewing thread in yellow, red, and blue
- Sewing needle
- Embroidery needle
craft thread is, admittedly, an insane choice for this. It’s what I had on hand, so it’s what I used, but I would not recommend it. Fingering weight yarn would probably be a much better option.
