This pattern is a simple colour work pattern, that allows people to try stranded colour work without having to worry about floats being to long. ( picking them up isn’t needed here)
its made in the round so there’s very little to sew, which is a big thing for me as I like to finish things, and they just get chucked to one side until i can be bothered to sew them up.
I have done a one size adult hat, you can make it smaller by working with a different weight yarn and adjusting the needle sizes to make to suit. you can take out one repeat of the pattern and that will make it child size. age 2-4, if that is what you wish to do.
