Splash is a light and comfortable unisex sweater for kids, worked seamlessly and top down in a combination of stockinette and garter stitch. The simple design works perfectly with variegated yarn, resulting in a colourful garment your child will love.

Finished chest circumference: 61.5 (66.5, 71.5, 76.5, 80, 85, 90) cm/24.75 (26.75, 28.75, 30.75, 32, 34, 36) in
Shown in size 6 years, intended to be worn with 8-10 cm/3-4 in of positive ease.

Gauge (blocked)
Stockinette stitch: 24 sts and 34 rows/rnds = 10 cm/4 in, with larger needle(s)
Garter stitch: 24 sts and 36 rows/rnds = 10 cm/4 in, with larger needle(s)
1x1 rib: 26 sts and 38 rows/rnds = 10 cm/4 in, with smaller needle(s)

Yarn
565 (680, 800, 910, 1000, 1130, 1245) m/620 (750, 880, 1000, 1100, 1245, 1370) yds of fingering yarn

Needles and Notions
• 3.5 mm and 3.25 mm (US #4 and #3) circular needles, 60-80 cm/24-32 in long, depending on size of sweater
• 3.5 mm and 3.25 mm (US #4 and #3) needles in your preferred style for knitting small circumferences
• Stitch markers
• Yarn needle
