Splash of Grenadine fun and easy faded crescent-shaped shawl worked from the top down. Starting at the neck with a garter-tab, the body is worked in alternating garter stitch rows, rows of eyelets and simple two-row lace. When the body is complete, short row(no warps) lace flowers added to give the shawl that delicate touch.

Choose three colors(A,B,C) of speckled fingering weight yarn and fade them together. Choose contrast color(D) that will pop against faded background. When choosing colors for unique fade, make sure that each skein you chose has some of the colors of the previous skein. This will give you a soft and smooth fade.

You will need:

4 skeins of fingering weight yarn in different colors(400yd/100g): 3-color fade (A,B,C), 1 contrast color (D)

US 4 (3.5 mm) needles

Markers, darning needle
