Splendid Serendipity
ABOUT:
Well, this blanket and pattern have sure been a labour of love. I have put so much of myself into this design, in turn, it’s become my favourite blanket, overtaking my Floral Dreams one. Shh, don’t tell her that.
What’s great about this design is you don’t have to make a blanket if you don’t want to. You could make a cushion or a rectangular shawl, or maybe even a poncho, or bed runner.
It’s a gorgeous, textural blanket made up of large squares full of intricate (but not hard) detail. Either increase your crochet stitch library or have fun making this blanket.
SKILL LEVEL:
As I say quite often, I try and write my patterns so that everyone can at least give them a go. So if you feel confident in your skills, then definitely give it a go. But if you’re quite new to crochet, I’d recommend having a good play around with the different stitches that aren’t familiar to you.
