My son loooooooooves bathtime, and I wanted to make something cheerful and fun that would make me smile while he played in the tub. Thus the Splish Splash Bathmat was born.

I went with Bernat Maker Home Dec yarn, but any bulky yarn will work for this pattern. I’d recommend cotton over acrylic for absorbency, but go with whatever colors make you happiest.

MATERIALS

• H/5.0mm Crochet Hook
• Bulky Yarn (I used Bernat Maker Home Dec - 2 skeins in main color and 1 skein in accent color)
• (Optional) Non-slip rug mat to put underneath the bathmat
