Dk weight and Aran weight versions - One size fits most
English

This pattern is written for both dk weight yarn as well as Aran weight yarn. Both versions are included in this pattern - simply follow the instruction for the yarn weight that you are using. As a general rule, I knit loosely - so my size 6 may be your size 7.

The poncho can be worn with the long side down the front for more torso coverage- or with more arm coverage with the flat edge at the bottom - you decide! It may depend upon where you find yourself at that moment.

I used interchangeable circular needles for both versions; as you will need several cables and needle tips to complete the pattern (regardless of which weight you choose). You may use waste yarn instead of extra cables; but that takes a bit of extra time that could be spent knitting.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions concerning this pattern. Enjoy!

Dk weight Gauge (as listed above): 18 x 30 = 4” in stockinette st
Aran Weight Version Gauge is 15 x 26 = 4” in stockinette st

This is a one size fits most pattern - I had a variety of knitters test this pattern, and their size range was from size 6 to size 18, and it looked fantastic on everyone. It can be easily modified to be made longer or wider - more yarn may be required to accommodate varying the size.
