An elongated Triangular shawl with a geometric lace pattern and garter stitch section which is worked sideways with knitted in I-cord borders and cast off, the I-cords extend at each corder to make tassels, the lace panel is worked first and garter stitch section is worked in German style short rows.

Alternatively, the I-cords can be brought together at the corners with a large shank button as in blue sample

Single colour 82” x 23”: Cream and blue

Two colour 70” x 20” (for a larger 2 colour shawl you would need additional yarn)

The blue and the green/cream samples are knitted in Madeline Tosh Merino Light

The cream sample is knitted in Chester Yarn Company 4 ply Super wash merino and silk single ply
