This cowl was designed as a companion piece to the Spokes Poncho and features the same simple mosaic pattern. If you want a dramatic look, pair a bright self striping or mosaic yarn with a high contrast solid. If you’re looking for a more subtle look, keep your colours muted and choose colours with less contrast.

Like all of my patterns, the Spokes Cowl in written in a clear, instructional style and includes video tutorials to allow anyone with basic knitting skills to learn the techniques to complete the project. The cowl is knit in the round using a basic mosaic technique which means you don’t need to strand or carry yarn. It is a Level Two pattern in my next level knitting system, but only because the mosaic technique may be new to some knitters.

Simple to knit and simple to wear, Spokes cowl can be worn with your poncho or as a stand alone piece.
