Spokes Shawl
This asymmetric sideways knit wrap alternates garter stitch spokes in two widths with subtle stockinette wedges created using the twin stitch method.
Finished Size: About 70” wide and 22” deep.
Yarn: Fingering weight (#1 Super Fine)
Shown here: Shibui Staccato (70% superwash merino wool, 30% silk; 191 yd 175m/1.75 oz 50g): Clay (MC), 2 skeins; Ash (CC), 2 skeins.
Needles: Size US 6 (4mm): 32” (80 cm) circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Yarn needle.
Gauge: 16 sts and 32 rows = 4” in Garter st.
