I made up this pattern because I have a friend whose daughter is enthralled with our porous friend here. And you just can’t find cool SpongeBob stuffies like you used to! He’s 14 inches long (including legs), 5 1/2 inches wide (not including arms, which are about 5 inches long), and 2-2 1/2 inches thick. As with any pattern, differing tension may make him slightly bigger or smaller, but those should be approximate sizes.

This SpongeBob pattern is seven pages long (in American English), in both PDF and Microsoft Word formats. It contains eight photos of the process to help guide you through the pattern. The pattern consists of very basic stitches. That being said, I appreciate when patterns tell me why they’re leading me in a certain direction, so we’ve tried to incorporate that as well.
