Hello everyone! I’m back as promised with the matching hat of my Spooky Buddies Halloween Sweater. The design is a little bit oversized and with a twist in the rib rounds part, which gives it an extra cute look in my opinion. I’m posting the designs early this year, to give you guys plenty of time to knit it before Halloween. Have fun knitting this set for the upcoming spooky season!

Sizes and measurements:

• Size 3-5 years: head circumference = 19.5”- 20.5” (50 - 52 cm), height = 8” (20. cm).
• Size 6-9 years: head circumference = 20.5”- 21.25” (52 - 54 cm), height = 8.7” (22 cm).
• Size 10-12 years: head circumference = 21.25” - 22” (54 - 56 cm), height = 9.5” (24 cm)..

Materials:

• Suggested Yarn: PoloSu, Softly Lux, (100% premium anti-pilling acrylic, 3.5 oz (100 g), 274 yards (250 m), in the following colors and quantities: cream 402 (1 skeins), brick color 440 (1 skein) and black 435 (1 skein).
• Circular knitting needles, 16” (40 cm) long, sizes US 4 (3.5 mm) and US 7 (4.5 mm).
• Double pointed needles (DPNs) set, size US 7 (4.5 mm).
• Tapestry needle.
• Ring stitch marker.

Yardage:

• Size 3-5 years: 55 - 58 yards (100 - 102 m), approx.

• Size 6-9 years: 83- 85 yards (135 - 137 m), approx.

• Size 10-12 years: 113- 115 yards (145 - 147 m), approx.
