These spooky fairisle mitts are worked in the round from cuff to palm and feature a stranded design of pumpkins, bats, ghosts and skulls. Super cosy and perfect for halloween. You will need one ball of 50g yarn for each colour used and there will be plenty left over for other projects, so they are affordable to make and make perfect gifts.

Each mitt measures approximately 17cm (6 ¾ inches) from cuff to palm edge.

Suggested yarn: Schachenmayr Baby Smiles Bravo Baby 4 Ply 100% Acrylic 50g/ball. 1 ball of each colour required to make a pair of mitts, but you will have plenty left over for other projects. Shown in shades Schwarz (01099), Weiss (01001), Lily (01027) and Grau (01090).

• 1 darning/wool needle for weaving in ends
