Spooky Socks
For these halloween socks there are 5 different scary motifs to choose from: moon, bat, pumpkin, cat and spider! To make your own spooky version you can knit all of them or just choose your favorite and repeat that.
The socks are knitted using two different colors. The short row heel, the cuff and the toe are knitted in a solid color.
Thanks to the checkerboard pattern there are no long floats, which makes this pattern a comfortable knit for all sizes.
Gauge: 30 stitches and 40 rows (10 cm)
To knit one pair of socks you will need sock yarn (4-ply) in two different colors.
The pattern is written for shoe sizes 22-45 (EU).
The pattern calls for DPNs in 2.5mm and 2.75 mm, but you can also use the Magic loop technique.
The pattern includes step-by-step instructions for the heel and toe and charts for the fair isle designs.
