This Varsity Sweater is a lighter weight version of the Baby Varsity Sweater (still available on Ravelry) that I designed in 2011 in worsted weight yarn.

Like the heavier sweater, this one is knit from the top down, has a V neck and is seamless. The neckband is knit on after the body is complete and can be knit in a contrasting color if you prefer. It has 2 pockets that are knit on afterwards also. There is an alphabet graph included with the pattern so you can add a letter (or 2) in duplicate stitch. Approximately 10 yards of a contrasting color are needed for the stripes on the left sleeve and one letter.
