This pattern is for the mouse and all of the sports outfits and accessories shown, including the golf, ballet and karate outfits.

The pattern contains lots of photos to help you every step of the way. It is written in English, using American crochet terms. All of my patterns have been independently tested prior to publication.

You will need:

Yarn of your choice. Yarn weight doesn’t really matter - the size of your project will simply turn out bigger or smaller! I used Patons Smoothie DK weight yarn for this project (this is equivalent to aran or light worsted weight yarn in most other brands) and my finished mouse measures approximately 10cm tall. Please ensure that you use the same weight yarn throughout the entire project.

For the mouse itself (pages 4 - 8) you will need the following colours / quantities:

• Main mouse colour - I used pale grey (approx. 23.5m).
• Nose / ears / feet / tail colour - I used pale pink (approx. 13m).

For the golf outfit (pages 9 - 13) you will need the following colours / quantities:

• White - for the trousers, golf ball and glove (approx. 13m).
• Grey - for the club shafts (approx. 8m).
• Black - for the club heads (approx. 3.5m).
• Dark Green - for the golf bag (approx. 15.5m).
• Light Green - for the jumper / sweater (approx. 8.5m).
• Pink - for the details on the jumper / sweater (approx. 1.5m).

For the Karate outfit (pages 13 - 16) you will need the following colours / quantities:

• White - for the jacket and trousers (approx. 33m).
• Black - for the belt and headband (approx. 5m).
• Beige - for the piece of wood (approx. 5m).

For the Ballet outfit (pages 17 - 19) you will need the following colours / quantities:

• White - for the leotard and shoes (approx. 20.5m).
• Yellow - for the tiara (approx. 1.5m).

Please note = The amount of yarn used will vary according to yarn weight, hook size and stitch tension so these measurements are only a rough guide and are based on using Patons Smoothie yarn with a 4mm hook. The pattern refers to the colours that I used, however these can be substituted for colours of your choice.

You will also need:

• A suitable size hook for the yarn you have chosen - I used a 4mm hook.
• A pair of 6mm black safety eyes.
• Some toy stuffing.
• Some finer black yarn or thread for adding the details to the mouse’s face.
• 2 small buttons for the karate and golf outfits (the ones I used were 14mm in diameter) and a needle and thread with which to attach them.
• The ballet tutu can be crocheted or made with some tulle fabric. If using tulle, you will need roughly 250cm x 15cm (which will be cut into strips).
• A very small piece of plastic canvas. I used ‘7 count’ plastic canvas but since such a small amount is required (just for inside the golf clubs and the karate piece of wood), you may wish to use some plastic taken from food packaging or similar.
• Other tools you will need are a tapestry needle, some scissors and some stitch markers.
