Make a Striped Sports Team Coffee or Tea Cup Cozy with your favorite team colors… PLUS, 5 sports ball appliques that can be added to ANY item you make! Football, Baseball, Soccer Ball, Basketball, and Tennis Ball (tennis ball not shown in photos).

Materials:
• Small amounts of worsted weight yarn in your favorite TEAM COLORS. First color listed is the MAIN starting color (3 stripes), second color is the ACCENT color (2 stripes).
• Small amounts of worsted weight yarn in colors needed for the ball applique you want to make.
• Sizes H/5mm and G/4.25mm Crochet Hooks
• Stitch Marker to mark beginning st of a round

Size: = This cozy is designed to go around a standard coffee/tea cup that measures about 10-11 inches around where the top of the band goes, about 9-10 inches around where the bottom of the band is, and is quite stretchy. Adjusting starting chain size will adjust the size of the band for your cup. Band height measures about 3.5” high. Soccer ball, baseball, basketball and tennis ball all measure approximately 2.875” in diameter. Football measures about 3.75” long x 2.25” wide.
