Cute stocking knit to resemble an athletic sports sock! The top two thirds of the stocking is ribbed and will require blocking to hold it’s shape to the width of the stockinet “toe”. The name is duplicate stitch with the alphabet chart included in the pattern. The team patch is made up from licensed sports team fleece and felt, but a ready made patch can be used as well. Since there is no heel, this is a pretty easy stocking to create for those who haven’t really worked short rows before but would like to make a Christmas stocking!
