Sporty Shorties
This pattern can be found in issue eleven of Nomadic Knits, which is available to purchase in print through Nomadic Knits or as a digital download through Ravelry (click the e-book link above).
While tall and cozy socks are a staple for many knitters, both in their knitting projects and sock drawers, short socks are wonderfully versatile for warm weather. Not to mention how incredibly fast these fly off the needles! Short rows on the back of the ankle keep the socks from slipping down inside your shoes. Stripes are added at the arch to give them a sporty feel, but leave them out if you’d like to stockinette on autopilot through the foot.
