This perky little polka dot pillbox is spot on the trend for whimsical patterns with colorwork. Increases and decreases in the dot pattern create nicely rounded edges and a slightly raised effect that makes the spots really pop!

Skill level: Intermediate Requires ability to knit in the round, read charts, increase and decrease, and do stranded colorwork.

Needles required 4.5mm(7US) 18inch circular and a set of 4.5mm (7US) dp’s for top shaping.

Yardage used is an estimate. I used a little less than 1/2 skein of the main color and about 1/4 skein of the contrast color for a medium size hat. My medium hat measured 19.5” The pattern is written out for small, medium and large sizes.

This yarn has lovely bouyancy and comes in a great selection of colors. I highly recommend that you make the hat in the suggested yarn.
