Spot the Bald Eagle
Spot is a cute bald eagle, and with this pattern, you can quickly whip up a new cuddly friend!
This pattern is intended for an intermediate level crocheter, who is familiar with chain, single crochet, half-double crochet, double crochet stitches, using magic circle, and increases and decreasing stitches. All stitches are also explained and illustrated at the end of the pattern for any beginner challengers.
This design is durable and has no plastic parts so that he would make an amazing baby shower gift!
When made with size 4 yarn, the head/body is about 9” (23 cm) tall.
Materials:
1) Worsted yarn in white Here used “Impeccable” yarn (284 yrds (260m)/4.5oz (128g))
2) Worsted yarn in dark brown
3) Small amount of worsted yarn in yellow or orange for beak
4) 3.5 mm (USE4) hook for main toy
5) Polyfiber filling for the toy
6) Blunt tapestry needle
7) Size 1 yarn (small amount) in black (for eye iris)Here used “Woolike Yarn” by Loops&Threads (678yd (620m)/ 3.5oz (100g)
8) Size 1 yarn (small amount) in white or light beige or light grey (for eye)
9) 2.25 mm hook for eye
