When I look at my pile of UFOs (Unfinished Objects), a consistent pattern appears - a second sock, a second glove, a second sleeve, another second sock, a second fingerless mitt. SSS (Second Sock Syndrome) and it’s various mutations are a real crisis. Until the medical researchers find a cure, these mitts are a panacea. They treat the primary symptoms of SSS - boredom from doing the exact same thing again!

Each mitt has a few little variations to keep them interesting enough to complete the pair. They also allow you to try your hand at a little embroidery in the safety of your own knitting. (and there are step-by-step instructions if you’ve never embroidered before!)

The Spring Mitt (right hand) features the first budding flowers of spring while the Fall Mitt (left hand) features the first leaves changing colors. Both mitts have varied traveling cables and colorful i-cord edging.

Spring and Fall are the perfect season for a light pair of mitts so enjoy wearing them.
