Spring
I live with my family in the southern part of Sweden. Our house is located out in the countryside which gives me a great opportunity to experience the colors and scents of all the seasons. The nature has been an inspiration to me for a very long time and now I have created the idea to make knitted works based on our four seasons.
The inspiration for the cowl Spring came to me during the early weeks of spring while the sun warmed throughout the day but the mornings were still cold and frosty. Something that always have fascinated me are the first flowers of the spring, which despite of the coldness crawls out from the soil. The cowl is knitted in alpaca yarn to get the soft and cuddly touch to the chin during the biting cold in the morning and has colors in yellow and orange to resemble the first light of the sun.
