Spring Basket is a small shawl with a continuous mosaic pattern, worked from side to side.
Do you still have a large amount of a ball of wool with a color gradient that’s too nice for making socks, and you don’t know what to do with it? Then this little project is just right for you. With the same amount of a matching contrasting color you can quickly conjure up this little shawlette.
Don’t you have an incomplete ball of yarn on hand right now? Well, then just take a new one and make the shawl a little bigger. To make it fit well around your neck, you need between 70 and 80 grams of fingering weight of each color, but larger is always possible. The length can be flexibly adjusted.
