Notions:
4mm and 3.5mm crochet hooks
Yarn: Stylecraft special DK 380g (estimated) - 330g for the main blanket, 50g for the border.
A minimum of 3 colours should be chosen, if more than 3 colours are used, choose 3 for the border.

Gauge: 8cm measuring from centres of Spring Blooms =
one full Spring Bloom and 2 half Spring Blooms. Diagram in the pattern makes this really clear.
