Learn how to knit the Spring Blossoms Baby Top with this beginner friendly knitting pattern.
The pdf tutorial has lots of photos and step by step instructions to help you through your project.
This is such a fun piece to knit for our baby girls, full of options to work each section of the top…you can even make it longer and turn it into a dress or tunic.

This top is knitted in the round, from the bottom up.

The patterns includes two versions each one with optional variations:
- Version 1: Lace edge and chest frills
It has a lace bottom edge and the body is knitted in stockinette stitch.
Stiches are picked up under the chest to create the lace frills. You can work the chest in simple stockinette stitch or in rib.

• Version 2: Stripes and wavy garter stitch edges On this version the body is knitted in a striped colour pattern, but you can use just one colour or make your own colour pattern. You can work the chest in a way garter stitch pattern or in rib.

The pattern includes video tutorials of some techniques used and explaining some of the steps of the pattern.

PATTERN INFORMATION:
- Available Sizes: 0-1 months, 1-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-9 months, 9-12 months, 12-18 months, 18-24 months, 24-36 months.

• Construction: Knitted in the round

• Experience level: Advanced Beginner.

• Yarn: DK/sport weight yarn.

• Tension: 25 stitches x 34 rows = 10cm / 4” in stocking stitch with 3,5mm (US 4) needles.

• Yardage: approx. 190-450 meters depending on size and version.

• Needles: - 3,5mm (US 4) and 3mm (US 2,5) circular needles with 50cm (20”) |

• 3 (US 2.5) double pointed needles for the I-cord (you can also use a crochet hook or cord mill)

• Knitting techniques: Knit, Purl, knitting in the round, simple increases and decreases, picking up stitches, I-cord (optional), bind off (full instructions given in the pattern).

• Languages: English and Portuguese.
