Spring Brook
Despite being worked in sock-weight yarn, this light vest, framed in a simple lace, is very fast to knit up. The front bands are knit at the same time as the body of the vest and continue around the back neck. Leave the edges raw for a casual look, or single crochet a narrow edging around the armholes and hem for a polished look.
Yarn
Fingering weight yarn with good drape and clear stitch definition. Two ply yarns, such as the one shown, will show the yarn overs particularly clearly.
