This pattern is for the amigurumi butterfly shown above. Finished product is approximately 5 inches long and 4 inches wide.

Legend:
ST(s) = stitch(s)
SC = single crochet
BLO = back loops only
CH = chain
MC = magic circle
SC2TOG = single crochet two stitches together in a decrease

Materials:
Size E/3.5MM (you can use a larger hook, but I don’t recommend going above size H/8MM
Worsted weight yarn in the colors of your choice and baby pom pom yarn (optional for antennas)
Pictured yarn is: Bernat Baby Coordinates in Candy Baby, Caron’s Simply Soft Party Yarn in Snow and Bernat Baby Pom Pom in Candy Floss Pink
Two black rhinestones, black thread, small amount of poly fill, tapestry needle, stitch marker
Pattern Notes: Pieces are worked in a round and you will not slip stitch and connect the row but use a stitch marker to keep track of your starting point. I do recommend stuffing your body as you go to make it easier to get into each portion of the body.
Special Techniques: You will need to know how to sew pieces together as well as how to make a magic circle/ring.
