It’s that go to cardigan for around the campfire or to throw on to take the dog for a walk in the early morning. The simple classic design is beginner friendly, but offers interest for the more experienced knitter.

Pattern is made bottom up as one piece. Sleeves are knit separately and added to body. Raglan decreases create the yoke. Button band is picked up and knit after the knitting is completed.

Sizes: S (32), M (36), L (40), XL (44)

Two colors of fingering or sport weight yarn is recommended, but please swatch for gauge. The garment is designed to have 1-2 inches of positive ease.

Needle size: US1 (mm) and US3 (mm) 40” circular needle (or size needed to obtain gauge)
US1 DPN’s and US3 DPN’s (for sleeves)
US3 16” circular needle (for sleeves)

Gauge: 28 x 32 stitches/rows per 4 inches
