Spring Chicken Family - Amigurumi Crochet Pattern

There’s a real sense of excitement in the hen house now that spring is finally here. Chicks have been hatching left, right and center and now the whole family is getting ready for the annual Easter Parade. Mama chicken watches the little ones from her nest of straw while she concentrates on keeping the last clutch of eggs warm and the older siblings help the younger hatchlings to get dressed up in their colourful eggshell pants. There are easter eggs galore and plenty of fun to be had by all!

When made with light worsted weight (DK/8 ply) yarn and a 3 mm Mama Chicken measures approximately 7” (18 cm) tall from tip to toe - or 6” (15 cm) when seated.
The Little Chicks are 2½” (7 cm) tall.
Hatchlings and Eggs are 2” (5 cm) tall.

Recommended safety eye size - Mama Chicken - 8 mm, Little Chick and Hatchling - 5 mm.
