I’ve been on a kick lately making what I call “continuous shawls” I don’t really know if these things have an official name. I just love the way triangular shawls look when worn with the point in front, and I wanted a way to do that without worrying about the shawl falling off, so that’s where the idea came from for me. I’m sure you will be seeing several more patterns in this style coming from me in the future!

Spring Cowgirl is a continuous shawl with a cowl neck top. Maybe that makes it a shawl point cowl? I have no idea what to call this thing! Let’s just call it pretty. It uses 2 generous sample size skeins of yarn (a 50g and a 25g skein), but can be made from one 100g skein of fingering weight yarn, with plenty leftover for a fun small project. (Maybe one or two of the Twisted and Twirled MKAL or MCAL patterns.) The yarn was provided by Mode Knit Yarn and Knitcircus Yarns as part of the swag bags from the Marley Bird Designer Dinner at the Summer 2015 TNNA Needlearts Trade Show. Thank you!!!
