Simple Toast is easy spring kerchief, for when you’re feeling overwhelmed and need something simple. This design combines bias- and top-down triangle shawl constructions for an easy but interesting project.

Tools are reasonable! You only need yarn, your preferred circular needle for working flat, and a stitch marker to knit this kerchief. And you may be able to get by without the marker.

Materials:

• About 200 yds of sportweight to dk yarn
• 1 24”circular needle in US4-5/3.5-3.75mm, or size needed for gauge, used to work flat.
• Stitch marker
• Tapestry needle

Gauge:
Gauge is 22 sts and 48 rows over 4”/10cm of garter stitch, unblocked and worked flat.
