Spring Feverish 5
Spring Feverish 5 is available as an individual .PDF download for $5, or as a set with the other Spring Feverish patterns for $15!
After a long hiatus, this textured triangle mini-scarf is the latest in the Spring Feverish series! It can be worn as a neckerchief or a headwrap, and features good, sturdy lace and a mildly interesting approach to buttons.
This design uses only a little bit of yarn—about one skein of a heavy fingering/sport sock yarn. I used Patons Kroy Socks for the sample, but I have another in Malabrigo Rastita (a much lighter yarn) pending blocking.
Gauge is 18 sts and 34 rows measured over the first stitch pattern in the project, blocked. Gauge is somewhat important for this project; going too small will result in a tiny, unusable finished kerchief.
Materials:
About 1 skein/130 yards/119m of Patons Kroy Socks FX (shown, Cascades colorway) or another sportweight yarn
1 pair of straight knitting needles, or one circular needle, in US5-6/3.75-4.0mm, or size needed for gauge
5 removable stitch markers (one is optional)
2-4 buttons to fit the eyelets, about 3/4”
Tapestry needle
There is errata available for the free version! It only applies to the first free version of the pattern; if you’ve purchased the pattern, that .PDF is already current with corrections.
Free version errata is here.
