This pretty shawl is knit from the top down. It is very adaptable in size by adding to the stocking stitch top, or by adding additional lace repeats.

The yarn that I used in the sample is Wolle’s Color Creations Yarn which has long strands of color giving it an ombre appearance. Also the un-twisted strands work up beautifully in this lace pattern giving it a mesh or almost a spiderweb look.

You can certainly use any fingering wt yarn of your choice for a beautiful result.
