The Spring Furrow mitts are knit in the round, and starts with corrugated ribbing, flowing naturally into the wavelet pattern. Stitches for the thumb are put on a holder, and new stitches are cast on for the upper hand. The thumb is knit in the round from the holder and additional stitches are picked up and knit.

Yarn used: Rowan Baby Cashsoft Merino; 1 ball each in 106 Silver (MC) and 101 Snowflake (CC)
Tension: 26 sts x 26 rows = 10 cm measured over stranded patt on larger needles
26 sts x 32 rows = 10 cm measured over corrugated rib patt
