I love the open, ropey look of this scarf. It will still keep your neck warm, though, so it’s perfect for Spring. This doesn’t use a full skein so it’s a great stashbuster and knits up quickly and easily.

If you don’t have size 50 needles, you’ll have to get creative. I elasticked a size 15 and a size 35 together (it works if you knit loosely!); you could also whittle down some large wooden dowels, I suppose.

This scarf would look great with some big chunky beads added to it (slip a stitch off the needle, pull the loop through the hole in the bead, and put the st back on the needle).
