Crochet Terms: US
Yarn: Cotton (though any yarn can be used)
Hook Size: 2.5mm or equivalent for your chosen yarn
Skill: Advanced - experience of making amigurumi is recommended.
Materials: In addition to yarn and hook you will also need 18 gauge (1mm) crafting wire as well as roving wool, a felting needle (optional).

The pattern is written in English US terms and assumes knowledge of the basic crochet stitches (slip stitch, chain, single, half-double and double crochet). This pattern also utilises wire work and needle felting (optional). The pattern is 25 pages of pattern including :

• step by step instructions on how to create each piece of this gnome
• pictures and step by step guide of non-standard crochet stitches
• pictures and step by step guide of how to needle felt
• pictures and step by step guide of how to use the wire and incorporate it into your crochet pieces
