Spring Ice - Trigger Mitts for Ladies
Trigger Mitts are a favourite for Newfoundlanders and Labradorians because they provide both the warmth of mittens and the handiness of gloves. Mug Up was developed by the authors of the popular Saltwater Knits series, Christine Legrow and Shirley Scott. Size:
- Circumference: 7.5 inches (19.5 cm).
- Length of mitten from beginning of Spring Ice pattern: 7 inches (18 cm)
- Trigger finger: 2.75 inches (7 cm)
- Thumb: 2.25 inches (5.5 cm)
- Length of hand, thumb, and trigger finger is adjustable
Materials:
- Briggs and Little Regal 2-ply worsted weight wool, 1 skein Dark, 1 skein Light
- 1 set 4.00 mm double-pointed needles
- 2 thinner double-pointed needles for 3-needle bind off only
- Ring markers
