This is a DIY tutoriual to make a bonnet just like the pictured one!
It is an intermediate knitting pattern that includes 6 sizes: newborn, 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months, 12-24 months and 2-4 years.

if you have never knit lace - the front leaf lace part is not that difficult - it just takes some getting used to counting the stitches :)

Gauge: 21st in 4in /10cm

You will need a skein of DK / light worsted yarn and knitting needles (to obtain the gauge). You can use either long straight single pointed needles, or any circular needles. also you will need a darning needle to weave in the yarn ends.
no knitting in the round - all is knit flat! no sewing!
